Welcome to Bowness Primary School Early Years
At Bowness we have established an Early Years Unit that offers children the opportunity to play, learn and progress in a stimulating environment. The Early Years Foundation Stage is about developing key learning skills such as speaking, listening, concentration, co-operation and resilience. We also work to develop communication and language, along with early reading, literacy and maths skills that develop the foundations for our pupils learning journey.

During their time in Early Years children are provided with a curriculum that enables them to develop a broad range of knowledge in an environment that promotes pupils playing, exploring and practising new ideas and skills.

We pride ourselves on the strong relationships that we have with parents and look forward to working with you to support your child as they move through their early education.
