Bowness Community Primary School

Welcome to Bowness Primary School Website

I am so proud to be the Headetacher of this unique 'Good' community school (OFSTED 2018). We hope that you will get a real flavour of life in our school from reading about all the achievements of the children and seeing what happens in our school on a regular basis. We are proud of the wonderful achievements of our pupils, but this is not what defines the children at our school. We measure our success by the smiles that we see around school as well as our vision to create children who are lifelong learners. It is this balance that makes Bowness such a special and distinctive place. We understand that a quality education is so much more than an end of key stage assessment, it is about equipping children to go on to their next stage of education as healthy, confident and respectful individuals, who can achieve their best in all areas both individually and as part of a team. We believe that through close partnership with parents, the hard work of the staff and the enthusiasm of the children, that this is the education afforded to all at Bowness Primary School. If there is ever anything you wish to talk to me about then please just say hello on the playground, or alternatively contact the school office to make an appointment - there is always time for a chat.
